About
At Bending Spoons, we’re striving to build one of the all-time great companies. A company that serves a huge number of customers, where team members grow to their full potential, operates at unparalleled levels of effectiveness and efficiency, creates extraordinary value for shareholders, and upholds high ethical standards.
Our strategy is to acquire digital businesses with untapped potential and make them as successful as we can by leveraging our platform of expertise, technologies, data, brand, talent, and culture. We then invest the proceeds into strengthening our platform and acquiring new businesses, combining investor capital allocation with a hands‑on operator approach.
Responsibilities
Identify emerging trends, then conceptualize and craft bold content that captures the audience’s attention. Own every step of the process—from brainstorming and planning to collaborating with stakeholders, publishing, and analyzing performance—to ensure each piece performs impeccably.
Leverage data to track performance, monitor competitors, and uncover actionable insights. Continuously refine strategies to maximize impact and drive growth.
Partner with creatives to ensure high‑quality execution of media requests. Prioritize initiatives with the greatest potential and keep the team focused on delivering exceptional results.
Play a crucial role in marketing efforts by mastering campaign management and creative analysis. Drive testing, learning, and scaling initiatives that are essential to achieving continuous growth for our team and products.
What we look for
Reasoning ability.
Given the necessary knowledge, you can solve complex problems, think from first principles, structure ideas sharply, resist biases, and attend to the details that matter.
Drive.
You’re extremely ambitious, initiative, effort, and tenacity match the intensity of your ambition, you feel deeply responsible for your work, and you hold yourself to a high—and rising—bar.
Team spirit.
You give generously and without expectation of reciprocity, support the best idea rather than your own, are reliable, honest, and transparent, and are always happy to get your hands dirty to help the team.
Proficiency in English.
You read, write, and speak proficiently in English.
What we offer
Incredibly talented, entrepreneurial teams.
You’ll work in small, result‑oriented, autonomous teams alongside some of the brightest people in your field.
An exceptional opportunity for growth.
We prioritize individuals of outstanding potential, placing them in roles where they can thrive. Spooners in their 20s lead products worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and if you’ve got what it takes, you’ll soon play an essential role in major projects.
Competitive pay and access to equity in the company.
Typical entry‑level salaries range from £47,660 in London to €46,027 elsewhere in Europe, with higher ranges for considerable experience. Compensation varies by location and impact, growing rapidly as you gain experience and translate it into greater contributions. Permanent contracts may include equity at a discounted price. If relocating to Italy, a 50 % tax cut may apply.
All. These. Benefits.
Flexible hours, remote working, unlimited support for learning and training, top‑of‑the‑market health insurance, a rich relocation package, generous parental support, and a yearly retreat to a stunning location. We help each Spooner set up the conditions to do their best work.
Commitment & contract Permanent or fixed‑term. Full‑time.
Location Milan (Italy), London (UK), Madrid (Spain), Warsaw (Poland) or remote in selected countries.
Selection process If you pass our screening, we’ll ask you to take on a few tests designed to assess how you approach unfamiliar problems. They’re challenging and may take several hours to complete. Successful completion leads to a series of interviews.
We set the bar high and do not extend an offer until we’re convinced we’ve found the right candidate. Consequently, a job may stay open for months or be reposted several times.
Studies suggest that women tend to avoid applying for a job if their CV isn’t a perfect fit. Here, talent takes precedence over experience, so if you like the role and believe you could excel, apply now.
Before you apply If you’ve applied before but did not receive an offer, we recommend waiting at least one year before applying again.
Bending Spoons is an equal‑opportunity and affirmative‑action employer. We consider all applicants and provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities—just let us know through this form.
We recommend spending your first few months working from our Milan office, regardless of your long‑term location. It’s the best way to rapidly absorb our culture and build trust with teammates. We’ll support you with generous travel and accommodation assistance, and after that you’re welcome to work from Milan, London, or remotely from approved countries based on the offer.
Apply now If the role speaks to you and you’re excited to give your best, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now—we can’t wait to meet you.
