Operations Data Analyst
Location:
Leeds, LS15 8GB (hybrid schedule, 2‑3 days in office at Thorpe Park, Leeds)
Salary:
£35,000 – £45,000 per annum (DOE) + up to 10% discretionary annual bonus and extensive benefits
Contract:
Permanent, Full‑time
Working hours:
37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, core hours 09:30 – 16:00

What you’ll be doing
Analyse operational data to derive actionable insights that support business growth and enhance site performance
Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and site metrics
Use advanced analytics techniques to support purchasing and operations teams in achieving key business KPIs
Identify opportunities to improve operational procedures and develop operational forecasts for changes
Create dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
Provide analytical support for operational decisions and align insights with broader business strategies
Ensure data integrity, accuracy and consistency through best practices in data governance and management
Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimise data collection, storage and retrieval processes
Analyse variances between actuals and forecasts to inform future strategies
Stay up to date with latest trends in data analytics, eCommerce and the pharmacy industry; recommend new tools and methodologies to enhance capabilities
Who we are looking for
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field
Expertise in Power BI and SQL, and proficiency in data visualisation/reporting tools (Tableau, Looker)
Hands‑on experience building and maintaining automated dashboards in Power BI, Tableau or Looker
Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation and analysis
Experience with data modelling and reusable data pipelines for reporting
Ability to analyse large and complex datasets to identify operational inefficiencies or business opportunities
Prior involvement in developing forecasting models (e.g., demand forecasting, workload capacity planning)
Experience measuring and improving KPIs related to service levels, accuracy and turnaround times
Involvement in root‑cause analysis for operational issues and recommending corrective actions
