This role is based at our Tarmac Colchester Office and is commutable from the following areas: Colchester, Tiptree, West Mersea, Clacton-on-Sea, Great Bentley, Braintree, Witham, Ipswich, Sudbury, Halstead, Chelmsford and the surrounding areas.
Main Responsibilities
Demonstrate an excellent telephone manner when dealing with colleagues and customers
Prioritise and multitask daily duties
Handle incoming telephone calls and emails
Understand and assess team needs
Support the sales team by handling their requests or directing to a relevant department
Maintain up-to-date and accurate CRM and SAP records
Engage with the wider Tarmac team to better understand requirements and develop and maintain relationships
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required
Maintain proactive communication across the region of work
The Ideal Candidate
Experience with SAP and CRM systems
Ability to work collaboratively with the existing team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard
Positive attitude, building rapport and positive relationships with customers and internal colleagues
Ambitious to learn new skills and achieve personal and business goals
Good interpersonal skills
Strong problem‑solving skills
Clear oral and written communication
Numeracy and analytical ability
