What will I be doing? Being a successful Area Account Manager is all about balance. You'll pull our merchanting, hire, and Benchmarx businesses together into one valuable proposition for our customers, driving proactive sales activity to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction. Regularly visiting our clients in person, you'll build unwavering relationships with key accounts to secure business that meets their needs both now and into the future. You'll also take ownership of reactive sales activity, supporting queries, quotations and orders to ensure that our high service standards never slip.
Operating within a flexible and autonomous environment, you'll lead your team to undertake proactive sales activity and maximise their performance against various targets.
(This role will cover branches across East London, namely Stratford, Woodford, Walthamstow, and Leytonstone.)
What skills and experience do you need?
Whilst product knowledge and industry experience are not essential, you'll need to be a competent and confident Sales leader, capable of inspiring teams.
You’ll need to hold previous experience in similar proactive selling environments and be able to spot opportunities to upsell and increase sales and profit with our customers.
You’ll be a strong and influential communicator, able to build strong relationships with multiple customers and internal stakeholders throughout the structure.
