Who Are We
AVA is a next‑gen health technology company. Ageing is hard – we’re here to make it easier. We’re building a wellbeing platform for older adults and their families – combining powerful hardware and software to promote independence, healthy ageing and peace of mind. Role Description
Will be AVA's first full‑time content hire. Role Mission: turn our story, product and purpose into high‑performing content that builds awareness, trust and momentum. They will share our early brand presence through the content they create – and will grow with us. Role Responsibilities
Produce outstanding multi‑format content
Plan, shoot, edit and publish short‑form video for Insta, TikTok, FB and YT Shorts Film authentic Founder content Create scripts, hooks, captions, headlines and story‑driven pieces Bring user stories, product demos and behind‑the‑scenes moments to life Own the weekly content engine
Build and manage a content calendar Plan shoots, organise assets and deliver consistently Turn early ideas into polished, fast output Maintain brand tone, style and visual consistency Test new formats, trends, angles and narratives Analyse platform performance (retention, watch time, comments, sentiment) Scale what works, kill what doesn’t Keep on top of creator culture and emerging content patterns Turn Real Stories into campaigns
Capture founder journeys, pilot stories and customer experiences Turn these into repeatable social series, case studies or micro‑campaigns Support launches and announcements with high‑impact creative Work with creators and ambassadors
Identify and brief micro‑creators or ambassadors Review their content and guide improvements Support them to tell our story authentically, in their voice Listen to the audience
Monitor comments, conversations and sentiment Surface insights that influence our messaging and product decisions Represent the voice of our audience inside the company What’s in it for the candidate
Work directly with the founders and creative leadership Build a brand from scratch – your content defines our early identity Contribute to a mission with real‑world social impact Create a portfolio of content with millions of potential views Significant long‑term growth opportunities as a founding team member Candidate experience and expertise
A true content creator: experienced, skilled in filming, editing and writing Experience in delivering content volume at scale across multiple projects and campaigns Passionate about short‑form content and social platforms with a track record Fast, resourceful and confident in turning ideas into reality Comfortable filming founders, customers and yourself Emotionally intelligent and comfortable with sensitive topics Motivated by ownership, autonomy and impact Hungry to grow with a start‑up company Education
Preferably educated to degree level. Salary and bonus structure to be discussed at the interview stage.
