Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in GCP Cloud Engineering and DevOps practices. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure, with additional exposure to GCP data products. Key Responsibilities
(IaC). Deliver GCP Cloud Engineering services for Data, Database, and Storage platforms. Curate, provision, and build GCP infrastructure and product resources using Terraform Implement automation, policies, and guardrails for platform readiness. Design and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and Harness. Manage Kubernetes clusters (GKE / OpenShift) for container orchestration. Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident management. Collaborate with data teams to optimise BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub workloads. Support incidents and perform root cause analysis for platform and product issues. Required Skills
GCP Cloud, Terraform (IaC), Jenkins, GitHub, Harness CI / CD pipeline design and automation Kubernetes (GKE / OpenShift) Python
scripting for automation Familiarity with IDE platforms (e.g., Backstage IDP) Understanding of GCP Data Products: Cloud SQL, GCS, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery, Vertex AI Experience
5+ years in SRE / DevOps roles with strong cloud engineering background. Hands-on experience in Kubernetes and container orchestration. Exposure to private cloud environments and OpenShift preferred. Mandatory Skills
