About
Until now insurers have made billion‑dollar decisions with outdated tools. Our platform brings together data, AI, and human expertise to give insurers the fastest path from submission to decision – helping them act smarter, move faster, and take on more risk with confidence. Backed by a16z, Highland Europe, and Battery Ventures, we’re scaling globally – already trusted by nearly 50 of the world’s largest insurers with zero churn and billions in premiums flowing through hx.
What began as a single product has evolved into a multi‑product, multi‑territory platform powering every stage of pricing and underwriting. AI is at the core – from the world’s first domain‑specific AI peer programmer for insurance to agentic workflows reinventing the industry. Impact here is defined by challenges you take on and the discipline you bring, not title or tenure.
About The Solutions Architecture Team The Solutions Architecture team bridges customer needs with our platform’s capabilities. From early sales conversations through onboarding and into live consultancy, the team ensures customers can integrate and use hx Renew to its full potential.
What You'll Be Doing
Run discovery workshops with prospects and customers, mapping their needs to our integration and onboarding playbooks.
Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders from underwriters to CTOs to enable smooth sales and onboarding.
Support RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence processes, and create proofs‑of‑concept to demonstrate hx Renew’s capabilities.
Guide customers through onboarding, delivering integration plans and providing consultancy for complex challenges.
Act as “Customer Zero,” testing new features with Product Engineering and feeding back improvements.
Develop and maintain reusable assets (integration libraries, playbooks, demos, and presentations) to scale our impact.
What You'll Need To Have Done
Built a solid technical foundation through work experience, personal projects, or education, with exposure to programming (ideally Python) or technical problem‑solving.
Familiarity with core technical concepts such as APIs, networking basics, databases, or authentication/authorisation.
Clear communication skills, whether presenting a project, writing documentation, or explaining technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
Experience collaborating to solve problems – on a team, at university, or in a customer‑facing environment.
Curiosity and initiative: a passion for figuring things out, asking “why?”, and experimenting to improve solutions.
Comfort with ambiguity and change, thriving in a fast‑moving environment.
You’ll Likely Not Thrive Here
Focusing only on technical delivery rather than building client relationships.
Uncomfortable moving between high‑level architecture and low‑level implementation.
Preferring detailed instructions over experimentation and rapid iteration.
Compensation We’re committed to salary transparency. Pay details will be shared early in the process. We design competitive, fair compensation aligned with impact, and offer equity to all roles.
