This is a hybrid position with some on‑site presence required at our flagship HQ in Worthing.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support for infrastructure and security services
Act as a first point of escalation for the IT Service Desk team
Manage and support Active Directory and Entra ID (identity and access management, group policies, conditional access, authentication methods).
Configure, deploy, and support devices and applications via Microsoft Intune, including application packaging, compliance policies, and device management.
Investigate, triage, and respond to security incidents using Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel.
Conduct proactive monitoring and maintenance of infrastructure and security systems, ensuring stability, compliance, and performance.
Work with vulnerability management tools to identify, assess, and remediate risks.
Collaborate with project teams to deliver new solutions and enhance existing services.
Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, incidents, and changes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT and security operations, recommending enhancements where appropriate.
What Experience & Skills You Need:
Proven experience in an Infrastructure or Security Support or Analyst role (not entry level).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure (compute, storage, networking, RBAC).
Hands‑on experience with Active Directory & Entra ID (hybrid identity, conditional access, MFA).
Practical knowledge of Intune (device enrolment, configuration profiles, application packaging/deployment).
Experience with Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Office 365, Identity) and Microsoft Sentinel (incident analysis, KQL queries).
Good understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management).
Experience providing second and third line support within a complex IT environment.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
