Culinary Artist

We are seeking an exceptional pastry professional to join our culinary team in crafting delightful desserts and confectionery. As a key member, you will work closely with the Corporate Pastry Chef and Pastry Sous Chef to curate seasonal menus, innovate new recipes, and oversee the pastry section of our kitchen.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for baking, creativity, and artistic skills in cake decoration and dessert presentation. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, handling baking equipment, creating pastries, baked goods, and confections following designated recipes, and ensuring appealing and tasteful presentation.

You will also collaborate with customers to plan and customize desserts and pastries for special occasions, monitor baking ingredient inventory, and order supplies within budgetary guidelines. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to safety and health regulations within the pastry section.

• Possess a certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or a related field.
• Have at least three years of experience in the food industry as a Pastry Cook, Baker, or in a relevant role.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.
• Showcase creative ability and artistic skills in cake decoration and dessert presentation.
• Display keen attention to detail in all aspects of pastry preparation.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings when required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
