as a Service Engineer specialising in Harbour Mobile Cranes. You will conduct maintenance and repairs, ensuring quality standards, timelines, and customer confidence.
Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, inspection, and repair of machinery and equipment at customer premises.
Prioritise harbour crane types while becoming familiar with other product types.
Diagnose fault issues and take appropriate action.
Return all warranty and return parts cleaned, packed, and labelled correctly.
Read, understand, and file all service information.
Keep service manuals updated.
Work in strict compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
Develop outstanding rapport and relationships with customers.
Coordinate with customers to understand and meet their needs flexibly.
Support others, ensuring admin and paperwork is completed timely.
Qualifications
GCSE Maths and English (Grade A to C or 9 to 4).
Recognised apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 in a related industry.
Experience in a similar role within the industry.
Full clean driving licence.
