About
Purpose of Role The Business Analyst joins the Change team on a permanent basis to support strategic client‑experience programs. The role will interact with stakeholders at all levels, gather and validate business and system requirements, and drive project delivery across strategy, change, technology, and implementation. The successful candidate brings deep experience in financial services and private‑markets front‑office or investor‑relations operating models, and demonstrates strong stakeholder‑management and independent working skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a clear understanding of new projects and elicit objectives, scope and success criteria.
Gather, document and validate business and system requirements, collaborating with technology and business partners.
Define and document end‑to‑end business process maps, data flows, use cases and entity‑relationship diagrams.
Work with business and technology colleagues to verify requirements against solution delivery at each project stage.
Establish proactive working relationships with key stakeholders and subject‑matter experts.
Support adoption of business and IT change by maintaining engagement with users and providing training and support as needed.
Own and resolve project issues in a timely manner with the relevant teams.
Skills And Experience Required
5+ years in the financial services sector with a strong project‑delivery track record, preferably in Private Markets or Fund Management.
Knowledge of investment and investor‑relations lifecycles and related systems (CRM, marketing, due diligence, onboarding, data management, reporting).
Ability to elicit and document detailed business requirements, including rationale and context.
Experience creating BPMN‑based process flows using tools such as MS Visio.
Experience with Waterfall and Agile Scrum project lifecycles.
Backlog management experience in Azure DevOps or Jira.
Exposure to working with external third‑party vendors and partners.
Facilitation of workshops with business and technical stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills.
Project‑management, scrum‑master or team‑management experience.
Desirable (but not Essential)
Business Analysis qualification or certification (e.g., BCS Business Analysis).
In‑depth knowledge of Private Markets, Private Equity and Private Credit processes.
Familiarity with private‑market technology platforms such as Altvia, DealCloud, FIS DX, Sonata One.
