Cyber Security Apprentice

Barrow‑in Furness (Cumbria)
Salary:
£14,527 – £23,493 per annum, depending on age, with annual progression through the scheme duration.
What You’ll Be Doing
Communicate security risks and issues to business managers and other stakeholders, applying and maintaining specific security controls as required by organisational policy and local risk assessments.
Support incidents and vulnerability management.
Assist in the investigation of minor security breaches following established procedures.
Help users define their access rights and privileges.
Perform non‑standard security administration tasks and resolve security administration issues.
Provide advice and guidance to business stakeholders on security best practice and application of security policies.
Gather and analyse data and prepare reports to feed information back.
Conduct and support security risk assessments, facilitating remedial activities to improve security performance.

IM&T (Information Management & Technology) Team Improving the future and protecting lives is an ambitious mission that drives our work at BAE Systems.
