About
Design, implement, and execute automated and manual tests for backend systems and APIs Analyse requirements and produce detailed test plans and test cases Maintain and extend an existing Python-based automation framework Develop and execute API and SDK tests, including regression, negative, and backward-compatibility testing Identify, log, and verify defects and work closely with engineers to resolve issues Contribute to quality, reliability, and testability improvements across the platform Test applications deployed in cloud environments Requirements
Significant experience in test automation within a software engineering environment Strong experience testing APIs and backend services Hands‑on experience writing automation in Python Experience with Java, JSON, XML, and web services Comfortable working in a Linux development environment Strong troubleshooting skills across both black-box and white-box testing Solid understanding of authentication and authorisation mechanisms Experience using source control and defect tracking tools Experience with commerce, payments, or financial systems is advantageous Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred Right to Work: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom without the requirement for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
