Job Description This hybrid role requires you to live within a practical commute of Bristol; modest relocation support is available. You’ll serve as Technical Lead for the chiller contract, overseeing quality and contract compliance. Your future team depends on your cross‑discipline coordination to keep delivery on schedule. You’ll interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders, resolving issues and controlling change rigorously.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Contract Engineering Lead across chiller scope, technical decisions, and contractual clarifications.
Coordinate and review supplier documentation, compile stakeholder comments, ensure quality within agreed deadlines.
Create structured comment sheets in approved tools; track responses and close actions efficiently.
Manage open points and modifications using formal change management and configuration control systems.
Prepare Contract Technical Specification (CTS) variations to notify supplier and client through governance workflows.
Resolve technical issues, nonconformities, and design changes raised by site and design teams.
Coordinate interfaces with systems, electrical, piping, layout and instrumentation and control disciplines.
Align qualification activities with the France‑based team; support evidence gathering and acceptance criteria.
Write surveillance plans and reports; communicate progress, risks, and mitigations to leadership.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
Proven understanding of chiller interfaces: systems, piping, layout, thermal performance.
Hands‑on contract management and documentary surveillance experience.
Competent with change, commercial and deliverable management tools.
Experience coordinating multi‑discipline technical interfaces on large projects.
Ability to prepare and control Contract Technical Specification variations.
Familiar with configuration control and formal change processes.
Experience producing surveillance plans and factual progress reports.
Desired Skills
Exposure to qualification activities and acceptance evidence for safety‑related equipment.
Experience resolving site nonconformities and design changes within governance.
Working knowledge of instrumentation and control systems interface requirements.
