And we do it all right here at Sky. We are looking for a Developer/DevOps Engineer to join our Developer Experience (DevEx) Team. You will work on key improvement projects and the management of a wide range of market leading SDLC tools. You’ll play a major role in helping our developers be more efficient and agile to keep delivering great products. What you'll do: Troubleshoot, manage and develop our multiple business-critical DevEx apps and services within Sky technology. Engage with our Development Community and positively impact developer productivity. Automate the deployment, scaling and management of containerised applications as we move from on-premise and physical hardware to Kubernetes / Cloud deployments Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and services for development teams Enhance and develop our existing monitoring and observability capabilities to ensure high availability and performance of our systems and processes. Investigate new technologies and solutions and lead value growth initiatives. Continuously improve our DevEx culture, processes and tools Own and take responsibility for projects and tasks to completion What you'll bring: Previous experience in DevOps/DevEx/Development related roles Kubernetes and/or Cloud Computing technologies knowledge such as AWS. Extensive problem solving, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of automated build pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Maven, npm etc. Administration experience across a number of SDLC Tools and platforms (Jira, GitLab etc ) A forward looking and innovative mindset to continuously improve the Developer Experience Team overview: UK&I Technology Ground-breaking projects.
