About The Role
Nevly is seeking a Front‑end Developer III to join our Nevly Money (the “Product”) Platform Engineering Team (the “Team”). We’re seeking a front‑end developer to translate user‑friendly designs into crisp code and thoughtful experiences for users of the Product. The right candidate will work as part of a cross‑functional team focused on delivering experiences that are responsive to customer needs. The right candidate is efficient with their time, technically strong and not afraid to ask questions. They will work closely with a cross‑functional team to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver innovative solutions that drive an ever‑improving customer experience.
Position Responsibilities
Develop new user‑facing features required to enhance the Product’s user experience.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use to ensure technical feasibility of the Product’s UI/UX designs.
Optimize the Product for maximum speed and scalability.
Collaborate with backend developers to improve usability and user interface.
Perform application updates and debug the Product to ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end of the Product.
Validate user actions on the client‑side and provide responses.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency across the development team; and debug issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a time efficient manner.
Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of the Product’s codebase through proper design and implementation.
Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, stand‑up meetings, and retrospectives.
Document software designs, processes, and configuration to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain an up‑to‑date repository of technical documentation.
Position Requirements
6+ years of relevant experience as detailed below and including hands‑on development and delivery of software applications.
Strong understanding of software development principles, including object‑oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Strong proficiency in front‑end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks such as React and Angular.
Prior experience working with hybrid mobile app frameworks like Ionic required.
Strong understanding of software development principles and practices such as testing, debugging, and code optimization.
Experience with code refactoring processes with a focus on implementing a microservice architecture.
Awareness of user‑centric design principles and experience in creating visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
Understanding of the development process and Agile software development methodology.
Demonstrated penchant for continuous learning and keeping up to date with new technologies, frameworks, and best practices in front‑end development.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
