– Role focused on enhancing the sales capabilities of the UK, Netherlands & Benelux commercial teams, developing and delivering sales training programs, coaching field team members, and supporting achievement of commercial goals. Note: This description reflects responsibilities and qualifications for a field-based training leadership role within Insulet’s sales organization. Responsibilities
Lead holistic training needs assessments across the UK, Benelux sales team to design, implement, and optimize impactful training programs. Collaborate with global training teams to represent regional needs and integrate them into company-wide initiatives. Align with Insulet work streams to promote a consistent training approach tailored to local requirements. Continuously evaluate program effectiveness and refine strategies to maximize sales force performance. Deliver presentations to the leadership team to stay aligned on team needs, priorities, plans and progress. New Starters & Continuing Development Design and deliver an initial training program with a core focus on sales force effectiveness and advanced selling techniques. Partner with Regional Sales Managers and training colleagues to ensure seamless onboarding experiences. Develop and maintain a modular learning pathway for ongoing skill-building and professional development. Provide structured field coaching opportunities in collaboration with Regional Sales Managers. Coaching & Field Development Identify opportunities for targeted field coaching that boosts effectiveness. Conduct structured field visits, offering constructive feedback, consultation, and best-practice sharing aligned with strategic goals. Sales Enablement Ensure the sales force is equipped with the right tools, knowledge, and resources to drive product adoption and deliver results. Support Regional Sales Managers in cascading key strategies and ensuring consistent execution across the region. Training & Workshop Facilitation Shape and deliver engaging training sessions and workshops grounded in adult learning theory. Use diverse techniques and tools to enhance content retention and participant engagement. Training Impact & KPI Alignment Define performance indicators with sales leadership to measure training effectiveness. Adopt a plan-do-review methodology to drive continual improvement and measurable outcomes. Training Content Management Maintain up-to-date training materials and ensure proper organization and documentation of training content. Culture & Mindset Advocacy Promote Insulet’s Ways of Working, Growth Mindset, and Change Management principles. Champion behaviours that foster a market-leading, inclusive, and high-performing team culture. Cross-Functional Collaboration Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and reduce operational silos. Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications are a plus. Sales Training Experience: sales experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical fields; extensive training delivery & coaching experience, preferably within medical devices or healthcare. Industry Knowledge: preferably understand diabetes care and insulin pump therapy. CRM & Analytics: experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools. Sales, Training & Psychometric Tools: experience with tools such as DISC or Insights Discovery is a strong asset. Skills
Leadership: ability to train, coach and develop high-performing sales teams. Training Expertise: strong facilitation and presentation skills in in-person and virtual settings. Communication: effective verbal and written communication across all levels. Analytical Thinking: ability to evaluate performance data and translate insights into training actions. Cross-functional Collaboration: experience in cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Medical and Market Access. Adaptability: ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Language: English (Dutch & French would be an asset). Physical Requirements
Valid driving license required. Regular field travel across the UK/Benelux region (up to 50%). Work environment includes home office, head office, and in-field work. A company car will be provided. What We Offer
