Role Overview
You will be joining as an electrical design engineer in their Glasgow office. Your responsibilities will include:
Producing calculations, design drawings, reports and specifications
Supporting Senior and Associate Engineers as well as the Management team
Ensuring your work meets the organisations quality assurance standards
Attending team and project meetings
Contributing to relevant sustainability legislation
Contributing to Section 6 compliance modelling
Witness testing the proving and commissioning procedures of final installations
Mentoring and training junior engineers
Requirements
BEng/MEng in Electrical/Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
Previous experience within a Building Services consultancy.
Working towards chartership.
Working knowledge of industry standard software like AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Hevacomp, IES, Dialux/Relux, etc.
Proven experience of designing Electrical Services in line with appropriate standards, guidance and client's requirements.
The ability to work to and meet deadlines, communicate issues effectively and efficiently to ensure project success.
Up to £42,000 per annum (DoE)
