We are seeking an experienced Product Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in mechanical inspection and quality assurance to join our facility at Three‑Legged Cross. This position involves key responsibilities to uphold our rigorous quality standards throughout the manufacturing process, including:
Key Responsibilities
Conducting first off, last off, and selected batch inspections to ensure product quality at each stage of production.
Programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to facilitate accurate and reliable measurement processes.
Completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) as required by industry standards.
Facilitating the Non‑Conformance Report (NCR) process to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
Liaising directly with customers to resolve any concerns related to product quality, ensuring their requirements and expectations are met.
Internal Auditing to AS9100 requirements (Audit training to be provided following successful completion of probationary period).
Identify and report on Quality KPI's for the business.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven experience in programming CMMs (MCOSMOS advantageous).
Comprehensive understanding of AS9100 aerospace quality standards.
Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining product quality requirements.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across different teams.
Proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
