Responsibilities
Mechanical design and detailing of high‑precision new parts, sub‑assemblies and customer solutions for our Imaging & Analysis products.
Design of precise, tight tolerance mechanisms; tolerance analysis; design for long‑term stability (vibration, thermal effects).
Design for regulatory approval (EMC, MD, Safety, LVD) and DfX implementation.
Prototype build and assessment.
Document designs with detailed assembly instructions, including revision control of drawings and documents.
Develop budgets and cost estimates.
Qualifications
BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering (or similar discipline) or equivalent; iMechE / IEng accreditation preferred.
Minimum of 5 years experience in product development.
Demonstrable experience in mechanical design, tolerance analysis, regulatory design, DfX, prototyping, documentation, and budgeting.
