We are looking for a driven and experienced
Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR)
with a strong background in
Fintech
to join our dynamic sales team. As a senior member of the SDR team, you will play a key role in driving top-of-funnel growth by identifying and engaging high-value prospects, building strong relationships, and qualifying opportunities for our sales pipeline. This role requires a proactive approach to outbound prospecting, leveraging your industry knowledge and network to open doors with key decision-makers in the Fintech ecosystem. Key Responsibilities
Drive outbound prospecting campaigns to generate qualified leads for the sales team. Leverage your Fintech expertise to identify new market opportunities and tailor outreach to high-value prospects. Research target accounts, map key stakeholders, and develop personalized outreach strategies. Engage with senior decision-makers (C-suite, Product, Operations) to understand their challenges and position Modulr’s solutions effectively. Qualify inbound leads and nurture them through the early stages of the sales cycle. Collaborate closely with the Account Executives, Marketing, and Partnerships teams to optimize pipeline generation strategies. Provide insights from the field to shape go-to-market strategy, messaging, and product positioning. Mentor junior SDRs and support best practice development across the team. Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline targets. Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of SDR or BDR experience in the Fintech or payments sector (essential). Proven track record of exceeding lead generation and pipeline targets. Strong understanding of Fintech trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive dynamics. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – confident engaging senior stakeholders. Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) and outbound prospecting tools (SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6Sense and Clay). Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. What We Offer
