Selling overhead crane systems and associated lifting solutions into a broad mix of industrial environments Managing and developing an existing customer base while identifying and converting new business opportunities Working closely with customers to understand their operational needs and propose technically appropriate solutions Producing quotations, proposals and supporting technical documentation Liaising with internal engineering, project and service teams to ensure smooth delivery from enquiry through to installation Attending site visits, surveys and customer meetings across your territory Territory
Primary focus on the Midlands and South East of England Some UK-wide travel will be required depending on projects and customer needs What they are looking for
Experience in technical or engineering-led sales, ideally within cranes, lifting equipment or capital equipment Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering principles Confident communicator who can build long-term relationships at all levels Comfortable working independently in a field-based role Full UK driving licence Package and benefits
Basic salary of £40,000 to £60,000 depending on experience Quarterly bonus scheme with realistic earnings of £10,000 to £15,000 per year Polestar electric company car Opportunity to work with a respected lifting solutions specialist and a strong product offering Long-term career progression within a growing business This role offers a great balance of technical engagement, autonomy and earning potential for a Sales Engineer looking to work with high-quality overhead crane systems across the UK.
