Job Purpose We are looking for an experienced Mobile Engineer – commercial Gas Bias to work with a range of Mitie clients within the Local Government and Education Sector (Leeds Area) providing all relevant day-to-day Hard Services activities, including carrying out Planned, Reactive, Quoted and Minor Works on the Building Services Assets, providing an end-to-end Proactive and Reactive Service to our end line user, ensuring their Buildings and Estates remain Open, Safe, Fit and Compliant.
Responsibilities You will be responsible for ensuring our Clients Buildings and Estates remain Open, Safe, Fit and Compliant through completion of both Planned and Reactive maintenance tasks. Safety on site towards all building users is of paramount importance. Deficiencies in systems, services and or equipment, which may result in personnel injury or environmental damage must not be ignored, should be reported and all Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAW), Company Policies and Procedures followed. You will be responsible for ensuring own work and the work of those under your supervision will be completed in a safe and diligent manner. Suitable training will be provided to enhance suitable candidates, to maximise both their existing and proposed/ agreed new skills required to exceed service delivery expectations.
Essential Skills & Experience
COCN1 or CODNCO1 (CCN1)
TPCP1 & TPCP1A
ICPN1
Appliances CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1
Domestic gas tickets also preferable
IT literate, with experience using the MSOffice suite (Word, Excel, TEAMS)
Ability to maintain a safe working environment, as per HASAW 1974
A minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship experience in commercial environments
Strong understanding of Statutory Compliance in Building Services Engineering
Full, clean driving Licence
