Job Summary The role involves supporting and maintaining customer accounts managed by the Account Director, handling customer engagements to maximize sales and satisfaction. You will liaise with internal departments, vendors, and customers. Key Responsibilities Prepare quotations for standard and non-standard products Place orders using our sales tools Manage Outlook mailboxes for coworkers and customers Address initial customer queries or issues Handle product returns Provide product information and check specifications Report on back orders and customer requirements Update product and pricing information in ServiceTrack catalogues Collaborate with vendors and partners to develop opportunities Coordinate with internal departments like Customer Services, Credit, and Purchasing Maintain and develop product knowledge as directed by the Account Director Understand vendor promotions and bid processes Assist with holiday cover and coworker training Qualifications, Skills & Experience Attention to accurate reporting Understanding of the IT sales channel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with internal tools like Microsoft Navision and CRM Previous experience in a commercial or administrative role preferred Industry product and service knowledge preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to build rapport with customers, partners, and colleagues Strong time management and prioritization skills Adaptability to changing tasks and priorities Drive, ambition, and business acumen Attention to detail Ambition to grow within CDW We make technology work so people can do great things.
