Overview The
Security Analyst
will be responsible for managing and monitoring the company's security tools and supporting the company's compliance with NIST security controls. The Security Analyst is a key player in defending the company's data, systems, and network from vulnerabilities and unauthorized access. This role offers the opportunity to participate in a broad set of compliance and security responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Administer and monitor the company’s security‑related tools (Vulnerability scanner, WAF, SIEM, MFA, etc.)
Identify potential risk issues and collaborate with internal teams to execute corrective steps.
Serve as an escalation point for security incidents and investigations.
Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive measures.
Assist in responding to customer security risk questionnaires and audits.
Support the company’s evaluation of security technologies and tools.
Investigate security breaches and/or incidents.
Participate in IT security related projects on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or other technology‑related discipline
3-5 years of IT experience in IT security administration
Solid knowledge of cybersecurity and security‑related tools preferred
Security+ Certification required
CompTIA CySA+ Preferred
Ability to work independently and within teams
Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in writing technical specifications are required
The ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and to reason analytically is required
Problem solving and detail oriented.
