Flexible, motivated, and enthusiastic Confident in applying basic structural engineering principles Experienced in British construction methods, products, and standards Skilled in design using British Standards and Eurocodes for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures Competent in producing detailed designs using both hand calculations and modern software tools Proficient in Tekla Structural Designer and Tedds Able to communicate clearly through reports, sketches, and verbal discussions Comfortable attending site visits, meetings, and responding to site queries As part of the role, you will
Check third-party designs for both permanent and temporary works Produce your own designs for temporary and permanent works Troubleshoot and resolve site-based technical issues Create 3D models and structural designs (predominantly reinforced concrete and steel frames) to explore options and value engineering opportunities Attend site to provide technical support and liaise with teams on design matters Benefits include
