The role
MGOC Spares is looking to recruit a Classic Car Parts Sales Advisor with a passion for classic cars, a verve for sales and exceptional customer service skills on a full time, 38.75hrs per week basis from our site in Swavesey, located 10 miles north-west of Cambridge, conveniently located adjacent to the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway. Your role will include handling customer enquiries in a timely, polite and professional manner requiring a high degree of organisation and communication skills. Working collaboratively with an experienced, friendly and supportive sales team, helping customers with their product selection, providing technical product support and resolving customer service enquiries; through multi-channel communications (phone, email, live chat and face to face). Key Responsibilities:
Handle customer sales & service enquiries on a day-to-day basis. Receive inbound and make outbound customer sales & service telephone calls. Provide timely and effective reply to email/live-chat enquiries. Help customers to identify suitable product, upselling where appropriate. To support colleagues in maintaining contact centre grade of service. Work to department objectives to achieve sales targets. Where relevant, communicate knowledge across departments to improve offer, process and efficiency. Undertake relevant training (as required) Provide shop counter cover (ad hoc) Attend shows/events (occasional) Support the administration of the sales office Skills & Qualifications:
Key Skills A confident and professional, multi-channel communicator with strong customer facing skills Mechanically minded, familiar with vehicles and vehicle parts. Excellent attitude towards customers and sales Motivated, timely and proactive Strong IT and online literacy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools.
