Reporting to the EMEAR Social Media Lead and being part of a global social media team, you will plan, execute, manage and deliver best-in-class social media content and campaigns for the brand channels in the United Kingdom. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to bring your best ideas to the table and, in partnership with our in-house creative team, bring them to life for our audiences. And you’ll be obsessed about getting to the bottom of what makes our audiences tick, what they love, what they hate, what gets them engaged and what gets them to click. Who You’ll Work With
You’ll be embedded into the country marketing and communications team, reporting to the EMEAR Social Media Lead. You’ll also collaborate regularly with the broader social team and interlock with other internal teams – including Campaign Managers, Events, Public Relations, Product Marketing. You’ll also work closely with the social media platforms and agency partners, helping to deliver best in class social executions. Things You’ll Work On
You’ll be the go-to in the United Kingdom for social media. You’ll be responsible for aligning our social content plans with internal teams such as sales, partners, talent brand, etc. as well as Global/EMEAR stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for applying the regional social media strategy in the country to deliver the monthly content strategy editorial approach that has real country relevance and delivers on brand and business objectives. You’ll drive organic social-first/in-platform conversations with a bold tone of voice, capitalizing on real-time trends. Working closely with the Communications Lead and Marketing Managers you will own the editorial calendar and create content for country channels to support local initiatives as well as localise global campaigns. You’ll craft the social media copy and brief the in-house creative producer team to create social visual assets aligned to the best practices of each platform. You’ll manage the publishing and community management of the country channels including live event coverage and streaming moderation. You’ll work closely with the Social Media Analyst for trends monitoring, listening and reporting and continually apply these insights to planning and execution. You’ll work closely with the Paid Social Media Manager for boosting organic content based on the business priorities. Together with the Executive Comms Manager, you’ll support the country General Manager with social media profile optimizations, suggested content, and amplify executive content on the country channels. Skillset requirements
Degree educated Minimum of 3 years experience working in a social media execution role Experience delivering best-in-class content strategy aligned to broader social, brand and business objectives and then delivering against that content strategy from end-to-end (strategy & planning, copywriting & creative briefing, project management) Extensive knowledge of the key social platforms, their algorithms and how audiences use and engage with them Ability to spot and capitalize on key social media trends Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills, attention to detail, excellent grammar skills Data-driven mindset, ability to interpret content performance and apply it to future creative Quality control - keen attention to detail to assess content against brand and tone of voice guidelines Ability to juggle multiple moving parts within this fast-paced, real-time role Proactivity, ability to respond quickly Community management – able to engage our audiences by leading the conversation on social but also cool in a crisis with the ability to follow crisis social guidelines and proactively find solutions to issues when necessary Ability to be proactive and execute independently within the company guidelines Confident working with stakeholders from various levels of an organization Fully native speaker Ability to present and teach others key skills Nice to have but not essential
Ability to create basic graphics using existing on-brand templates (Photoshop / Canva) Shoot for social (photos and videos) at live events Experience using Sprinklr or similar Paid social strategy and management experience Seniority level
