This is a proactive, phone‑based role based at our Cheadle HQ, where your success will be measured by the volume and quality of new broker relationships you initiate and convert. You’ll be a natural researcher and communicator, able to uncover opportunities, conduct fact‑finds, and guide brokers through the onboarding journey. You’ll also manage Together’s social media presence (Facebook) to support outreach and engagement.
Responsibilities
Broker Acquisition: Proactively identify and approach new broker firms using a variety of research methods and outreach strategies.
Fact‑Finding & Qualification: Conduct detailed conversations to understand broker business models, permissions, and suitability for onboarding.
Onboarding Management: Own the end‑to‑end onboarding process, ensuring brokers are supported and guided through each stage.
Target Delivery: Work to clear monthly and quarterly targets focused on new broker panel additions.
Social Media Engagement: Manage Together’s broker‑facing social media pages (Facebook), using them to promote opportunities and engage prospects.
CRM & Data Management: Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and onboarding progress using internal systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth handover and integration of newly onboarded brokers.
Segmentation: Maintain updates on segmentation modelling to drive prioritisation based on potential volume, quality, relationship and market share.
Competitor Panels: Maintain competitor panel intel to identify gaps or opportunities for Together to differentiate.
Prospect: Track industry events, webinars etc. and utilise data to onboard brokers.
Network: Build relationships with introducing brokers to encourage onboarding.
Qualifications Essential:
Proven experience in outbound sales or business development, ideally within financial services or mortgage distribution.
Strong research and prospecting skills, with a creative approach to finding new leads.
Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
Confident using social media platforms for professional engagement.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable:
Experience in broker onboarding or intermediary relationship management.
Familiarity with FCA permissions and mortgage distribution models.
CeMap qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
If you feel you have some of the skills mentioned above, but not all, please do still apply and we would be happy to have a further discussion with you in regards to your suitability for the role.
