Product Overview Bloomberg’s Broadway EMS Solution is at the leading edge of high‑performance trade execution, delivering innovative multi‑asset solutions to SellSide clients including the world’s top banks. Combined with Bloomberg’s Trade Order Management System (TOMS), it provides fixed‑income sell‑side firms with capabilities to efficiently manage inventory, risk, P&L, compliance, and straight‑through processing. The enterprise suite includes electronic trading tools and market connectivity to synchronize front‑office risk and trading with middle‑office, operations, and enterprise applications in real time.
Role Summary The Bloomberg Broadway Sales Specialist is responsible for generating new revenue and leading the sales process for our Fixed Income EMS solution to sell‑side clients ranging from regional organizations to large global banks. You will create and convert existing pipelines into revenue by engaging potential customers and key decision makers, understand client business objectives, deliver customized sales presentations and demonstrations, support brand awareness initiatives, build key relationships with decision makers, maintain in‑depth market knowledge, and manage the sales lifecycle from inception through completion in collaboration with internal teams.
We Will Trust You To
Apply strong product knowledge, technical skills, and market knowledge to generate revenue for Sell‑Side EMS solutions
Establish and implement a pipeline‑building strategy by developing key customer relationships with business and technical decision makers to maximize sales opportunities
Develop an in‑depth knowledge of regional business and competitor landscape including strengths, weaknesses and coverage
Balance multiple engagements across the sales lifecycle to achieve targets
Coordinate the full enterprise sales process across a variety of different business units in close collaboration with our OMS franchise TOMS and Risk (MARS)
Engage with customers using a consultative approach to identify workflow gaps within the Sell‑side value chain and collaborate closely with pre‑sales specialists
Articulate the features and benefits of the products in detail so that you can function as a partner for your customers
Participate and lead sales presentations demonstrating functionality and workflows that address customer needs
Contribute innovative ideas that anticipate and address client needs
You'll Need To Have
5+ years experience in financial services technology solutions sales where you have met or exceeded demanding targets
Capital Markets knowledge with a strong understanding of sell‑side Fixed Income dealing workflows and market structure
Solid understanding of the trading technologies used in the capital markets industry
Familiarity with low latency trading concepts
Highly proactive approach and confidence in sales approach and strategy
Exemplary presentation, training, and communication skills
Project management and organizational skills
Manage time effectively and work well under pressure in a fast‑paced, rapidly growing team environment
Willingness to travel regularly
Secondary European language
