Ribblesdale Jaguar Land Rover is seeking a dedicated and skilled MOT tester/Sales Prep Technician to join our passionate team. With future development plans on the horizon, we are looking to strengthen our team and build a brand‑new MOT facility.
As a family‑run business, we prioritise providing comprehensive support to all our customers.
Responsibilities
Perform MOT tests on all makes and models, including class 7 vehicles.
Conduct MOT, repair, report, service, and pre‑delivery inspections of our complete range of brand and non‑brand products.
Conduct thorough road testing of vehicles and ensure proper handling and storage of vehicle parts.
Requirements
Valid MOT Test Certification.
Possession of a valid UK driving licence.
Successful completion of an Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent BTEC or City & Guilds qualification.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous development and willingness to embrace change.
Safety‑conscious mindset prioritising health and safety matters.
What We Offer
Competitive salary: £28,310.06 – £38,283.90 per year.
Company pension.
Free on‑site parking.
Full‑time schedule: Monday to Friday, with one in three Saturdays on a rota (paid overtime).
Overtime opportunities available.
Location: North Yorkshire, BD24 9AD.
