Compensation:
$15 - $18 per hour based on location, experience, responsibilities, and performance.
Role Overview:
We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part‑time contract role enables you to contribute to the development of smarter, safer AI models. As a Freelance Content Evaluator, you will act as a human feedback mechanism, critically assessing AI‑generated text, search results, and datasets. Your primary objective is to review content for quality, relevance, and safety, applying detailed guidelines to ensure the model outputs are accurate and helpful to users.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate pairs of AI responses (Side‑by‑Side) and rate them based on helpfulness, clarity, and adherence to the prompt.
Verify the factual accuracy of content by conducting independent research to confirm claims, dates, and figures.
Assess content for safety risks, identifying and flagging harmful material, bias, hate speech, or personally identifiable information (PII).
Apply complex rating rubrics to diverse topics, ranging from creative writing and coding to general knowledge and historical facts.
Write brief, clear comments justifying your ratings to help data scientists understand the nuances of why one response is better than another.
Qualifications
Strong general knowledge and excellent web research skills to verify information across various subjects.
Native‑level fluency in English with a good understanding of cultural nuances and idioms.
Ability to internalise and strictly follow extensive project guidelines and decision trees.
A high degree of objectivity, with the ability to set aside personal opinions when evaluating sensitive or subjective topics.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects.
Compensation and Benefits
Rate:
Earn up to $18 USD/hr (Rates vary based on project complexity and expertise).
Flexibility:
100% remote with no fixed schedule. Contributors typically spend 5–10 hours per week, with the option to work up to 40 hours.
