The Role
Work directly with customers to understand their technical needs and recommend suitable product solutions.
Provide technical support and guidance through phone, email, and video conferencing tools like Teams or Zoom.
Prepare costings, quotations, and technical drawings to support project proposals.
Design mechanical assemblies including linear systems, gantries, and aluminium frameworks using SolidWorks (or similar 3D CAD software).
Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth order processing and accurate documentation.
Handle multiple enquiries simultaneously, managing your time and priorities effectively.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications: Ideally HNC or higher in Mechanical Engineering; strong CAD skills and relevant experience are considered.
Software Skills: Proficient in SolidWorks (or similar 3D CAD), Microsoft Office, and confident using ERP/CRM systems such as Syspro and SugarCRM (training provided).
Communication: Excellent telephone manner, email communication skills, and confidence in video calls.
Organisation: Strong time‑management skills and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
