Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands As the Business Development Manager UK within the Global Solutions division, you drive sales within new and existing customer accounts by managing relationships and delivering value propositions. Reporting to the Business Development Director – Europe & UK, you will be responsible for managing top‑line growth of the business.
What You Will Do
Prospect for new sales opportunities, traveling between EMEA and the UK.
Set account and territory plans to exceed sales quota on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis within preset margin expectations.
Record sales activities in Salesforce and produce territory reports.
Maintain high post‑sales satisfaction by facilitating positive long‑term relationships and fostering repeat business with customers.
Network with industry influencers, professional associations, and partners to build and farm relationships.
Maintain an understanding of trends, issues, and product development within the self‑storage industry.
What We Expect Of You
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Strong commercial skills, including negotiation and lead generation.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
Strong intrinsic desire to succeed, can‑do attitude.
Technical understanding or engineering bias would be an advantage.
Experience in the Self Storage industry is a plus.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota.
Experience with Salesforce CRM is a significant advantage.
Language skills could be advantageous.
