As the business continues to grow, this position will play a vital part in leading new business activity, expanding customer relationships, and overseeing the performance of a developing sales team. This is a key appointment for the organisation as it strengthens its commercial footprint in the region.
The opportunity
Develop and implement a sales strategy for managed IT and MSP services, including cloud solutions, hosting, outsourcing, and service-level agreements.
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across SME and enterprise clients.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects through outreach, proposals, negotiations, and contract closure.
Meet and exceed sales revenue and margin targets for the team.
Manage, mentor, and support a small team of sales executives, including setting targets and monitoring performance.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback for senior management.
Qualifications
Experience in B2B sales within managed services, MSP, IT services, cloud, or technology-based environments.
Understanding of sales methodology inc. MEDDICC.
A track record of winning new business and managing complex sales cycles.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to build tailored propositions.
Experience coaching or developing salespeople, or readiness to step into a leadership role.
Confidence in managing a pipeline, forecasting, and negotiating contracts.
