We’re looking for an ambitious Junior Copywriter to join our in-house Creative Studio at a leading global EdTech company – someone eager to produce outstanding work early in their career and grow into a confident, versatile creative.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be helping generate ideas, writing copy for a wide range of channels, and learning what great creative looks like by working alongside some great Copywriters and an Art Director/Designers. You’ll be encouraged to bring your ideas to the table and push your craft – we want juniors who are hungry to show what they can do and excited to be part of a purpose‑led company that makes a difference.
You’ll help ensure Twinkl’s tone of voice is applied consistently and authentically, talking with our audience, not at them, and play an important part in delivering work that is engaging, relevant, and inspiring for educators.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
Writing & Learning: Supporting the team by writing headlines, social copy, emails, and campaign messaging – and learning how to refine and polish your work with guidance from more senior creatives.
Idea Contribution: Jump enthusiastically into brainstorms and creative sessions, bringing fresh perspectives and bold ideas. You’ll have the creative freedom to show what you can do, be encouraged to push your thinking further, and learn how to take constructive feedback to make your ideas and your writing better and better.
Channel Exploration: Gaining experience writing for a wide range of formats, from paid social and email subject lines to landing pages and campaign copy, and learning how to adapt your tone for each.
Collaboration: Working closely with Art Director/Designers and other Copywriters to help deliver integrated campaign ideas and creative solutions.
Voice & Messaging: Becoming a champion of Twinkl’s tone of voice, learning how to make your writing feel authentic, supportive, and in solidarity with teachers and educators.
To Succeed In The Role, You Will
Have some professional copywriting experience – this might be from agency placements, internships, or an early‑career role, and a portfolio that shows promise, craft, and potential.
Be ambitious and driven, ready to take part‑ownership of briefs and show what you can do creatively.
Be open to feedback, eager to learn, and able to use constructive criticism to make your work stronger.
Have a natural curiosity about language, storytelling, and what makes campaigns resonate with an audience.
Be comfortable writing across a range of channels – from social posts and email copy to campaign headlines – and excited to keep building that range.
Thrive in a collaborative environment, working well with more experienced Copywriters, Art Director/Designers, and Marketers (among others) to deliver integrated ideas.
Be organised and proactive, able to juggle multiple tasks and hit deadlines while you continue to grow your craft.
Be excited to work in a fast‑paced, purpose‑led environment where you’ll be challenged to produce your best work early in your career.
Who This Is Perfect For
This role is perfect for a Junior Copywriter who is passionate about writing, excited to learn from senior leaders, and ready to start producing brilliant work early in their career.
You’ll have a hunger to grow, a love of language, and a curiosity about what makes great campaigns work. You’re excited to work in a place where your ideas will be heard, your craft will be developed, and you’ll be challenged to do your best work every day.
