We are currently seeking a CNC Set Up Operator/Machinist:
Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Set-Up Operator/Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, setting up and calibrating CNC machines, and ensuring that all parts produced meet required specifications and tolerances.
Responsibilities:
· Read and accurately interpret blueprints and technical drawings
· Mount, align, and secure tools, fixtures, and workpieces on CNC machines
· Load programs or manually adjust machine settings (feed, speed, and depth of cut)
· Perform test runs and inspect finished products using precision measuring tools
· Monitor machines during operation and make necessary adjustments
· Ensure quality standards are met and maintained throughout production
Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machine set-up and operation
· Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills
· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
· Familiarity with CAM software and G-Code programming
· Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
