Instagram is a big part of how families discover Loopla, so creating high-quality, useful video content that draws people in is a core part of this role.
About the Role We’re looking for a hands‑on Social Media and Content Manager who can quickly turn footage into emotive, engaging Reels that match Loopla’s brand. You’ll understand how to create an engaging hook, tell a story through video content, and choose topics parents genuinely want to watch and save.
This is a freelance role for up to two days per week, with Mondays worked from the office and the remaining hours remote.
Responsibilities
Own Loopla’s Instagram day to day
Plan, film and edit high-quality Instagram content, especially Reels
Create emotive, engaging video content and strong hooks, covers and captions
Manage posting schedules and community interactions
Plan content calendars and oversee photoshoots when needed
Work with venues, organisers and partners to capture content
Repurpose content across social, website and newsletter
Run and optimise paid social campaigns, managing budgets and creative
Build partnerships, cross‑promotions and support sponsorship activity
Develop and maintain media packs
Lead PR and outreach activity
Track performance, report on results and improve what’s working
Work closely with the wider team
Experience
3+ years’ hands‑on experience with Instagram, especially video content
Confident filming and editing high-quality video
Good eye for visuals, pacing and storytelling
Strong copywriting for captions and hooks
Clear understanding of what drives engagement and growth
Comfortable using editing, scheduling and analytics tools
Organised, reliable and happy taking ownership in a small team
Bonus points for experience in
Experience working with creators or influencers
Experience working in startups
