What you will be doing The Controls Systems Engineer shall specify, design and validate complex sub-systems, including high-level requirements for the software and/or hardware system components. This will include creation of mathematical models and simulations of control and actuation systems.
The Controls Systems Engineer is responsible for the on‑time delivery and quality of the controls sub‑system and the artefacts associated with the design, verification and validation of the system. This shall be achieved through decomposition of designs and development of tests, analysis to ensure that the system implementation satisfies the validated requirements.

Responsibilities
Interpret stakeholder needs to develop and agree control system requirements
Develop high‑level requirements into a validated and verifiable control and instrumentation system design
Test and analyse control systems to support development and certification activities of safety‑critical systems
Analyse events and data to support failure investigation and rectification
Support the wider organisation through continuous improvement and strategic planning
