Join our growing team as a Picker/Packer in Raleigh, North Carolina! This role is fundamental to our daily logistics operations, focusing on the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders. You'll be responsible for retrieving items from our inventory, ensuring their quality, and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve products for customer orders.
- Inspect items for defects or damage prior to packing.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Affix shipping labels and any necessary documentation to packages.
- Keep the packing station and surrounding work area clean and organized.
- Comply with all safety regulations and utilize provided PPE.
- Achieve performance goals for order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
- Assist in cycle counting and inventory verification.
- Report any operational issues or inventory inaccuracies to management.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve collective goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is advantageous.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Sharp eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective time management and multitasking skills.
- Capacity to stand and move for prolonged periods.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics procedures.
- Strong adherence to safety practices and procedures.
