Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee daily operations at our Jacksonville, Florida facility. This key role involves supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and ensuring adherence to all safety and operational procedures. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
  • Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure all staff are trained on safety protocols and the proper use of PPE.
  • Schedule and coordinate shipments with carriers and internal teams.
  • Monitor productivity and efficiency metrics, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and address any potential hazards.
  • Manage and maintain warehouse equipment and facilities.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management and logistics principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Ability to develop and implement operational strategies.
  • Knowledge of inventory control techniques.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace safety, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
