Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure all staff are trained on safety protocols and the proper use of PPE.
- Schedule and coordinate shipments with carriers and internal teams.
- Monitor productivity and efficiency metrics, implementing improvements as needed.
- Conduct regular safety audits and address any potential hazards.
- Manage and maintain warehouse equipment and facilities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management and logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to develop and implement operational strategies.
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace safety, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Problem-solving aptitude and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
