Join our expansive warehouse operations in Indianapolis, Indiana, as a Warehouse Associate! We are looking for energetic and dependable individuals to support our growing Logistics needs. This role encompasses a wide range of essential warehouse functions, including receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and shipping. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our inventory and order fulfillment processes. A strong focus on Safety, efficiency, and teamwork is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy.
- Put away received goods in their designated locations.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer requirements.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area at all times.
- Comply with all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of the entire Logistics process.
- The role requires frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Promote a strong Safety culture within the team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center role is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting.
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices is essential.
