We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Associate in Columbus, Ohio. This role is fundamental to our distribution network, ensuring that products are stored, processed, and dispatched efficiently. You will be involved in various warehouse tasks, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position is perfect for someone looking to gain experience or further their career in the Logistics and supply chain field. Daily responsibilities include:
- Picking orders accurately based on customer requirements and system instructions.
- Packing items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Receiving and verifying incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Stocking shelves and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Conducting quality checks on products and shipments.
- Maintaining a clean, clutter-free, and safe work area at all times.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
- Assisting with inventory cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.
This role involves frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. The use of mandated PPE is required at all times within the operational areas. A proactive approach to hazard identification and a commitment to safe work practices are essential.
