We are looking for dedicated Pickers/Packers to join our vibrant warehouse operations in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately picking products for customer orders and then meticulously packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and attention to detail are crucial for our logistics success and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately picking items from inventory based on order forms or RF scanners.
- Verifying picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Packing orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Labeling packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe packing and picking station.
- Meeting established productivity and quality standards.
- Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as receiving or put-away.
- Following all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Adhering to all warehouse operational guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a general warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, and moderate lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics .
- Commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
