Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory management processes, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring optimal stock levels. Your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency of our logistics operations and the overall success of the company. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, possesses exceptional organizational skills, and has a strong understanding of inventory control principles. Responsibilities:
  • Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • Monitoring stock levels and making recommendations for reordering or adjustments.
  • Implementing and enforcing inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Managing the receiving and put-away process to ensure accurate stock placement.
  • Tracking and managing the movement of goods within the warehouse.
  • Maintaining organized and tidy storage areas, optimizing space utilization.
  • Ensuring compliance with all company policies, including safety regulations.
  • Using warehouse management systems (WMS) to manage and track inventory data.
  • Wearing appropriate PPE as required for warehouse tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks that may involve moderate lifting (up to 40 lbs).
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
