Join our logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida, as a Warehouse Coordinator! This dynamic role is central to the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. The Warehouse Coordinator will oversee the organization and flow of goods, manage inventory records, and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments. We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and management to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. A strong emphasis on safety, including the proper use of PPE and adherence to safety guidelines for lifting and material handling, is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the scheduling and execution of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Oversee the organization of warehouse space for optimal efficiency and accessibility.
- Track the movement of goods throughout the logistics process.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, shipment status, and operational performance.
- Communicate with team members, management, and external partners regarding logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Assist with resolving inventory discrepancies and operational issues.
- Must be able to guide and oversee tasks involving significant lifting and manual handling.
- Support training initiatives for warehouse staff.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the warehouse.
