Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic logistics team in Houston, Texas. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and the safe handling of all goods. This pivotal role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse management systems, and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Key responsibilities include scheduling shifts, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct the activities of warehouse staff, including Material Handlers, Order Pickers, and Fulfillment Associates.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency in logistics.
  • Coordinate with carriers and other logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
  • Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct training sessions.
  • Manage the receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is essential.
  • Must be comfortable with lifting requirements as per job demands.
