About
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Denver, Colorado. The Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately receiving, documenting, and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring a smooth flow of goods into the warehouse. You will be operating in a fast-paced environment, so efficiency and attention to detail are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks, ensuring careful handling of all materials.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments by comparing items received to the packing slip, purchase order, and invoice.
- Inspect goods for damage or defects and report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Accurately record all received items into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Tag and label received goods appropriately for storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, ensuring clear pathways and adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of required PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role preferred.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with WMS software is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
