In this essential role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary duties will include locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves, ensuring product quality, and expertly packing items for secure shipment. This position requires a high level of accuracy, speed, and a dedication to meeting customer expectations. You will collaborate with the broader logistics team to ensure seamless order processing and timely dispatch. We provide thorough training on our systems, procedures, and a strong emphasis on workplace safety, including the mandatory use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations according to order details.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damage before packing.
- Package products using appropriate materials to ensure they arrive safely.
- Apply correct shipping labels and verify address information.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment to enhance efficiency.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear all required PPE.
- Support the logistics team in meeting daily operational goals.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse capacity is desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product identifiers.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform frequent lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Team-oriented and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
