We are hiring a dedicated Material Handler for our busy warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials from receipt to dispatch. You will be responsible for handling, moving, and organizing a wide range of products within the facility. Responsibilities:
- Unload trucks and verify contents against shipping documents.
- Sort and stage materials for put-away or processing.
- Use pallet jacks and forklifts to move inventory.
- Transport materials to and from production or packing areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Safety regulations.
- Properly use all required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies.
- Follow all company procedures for material handling and logistics.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial. Must be able to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. A strong emphasis on Safety is required, including knowledge of proper lifting techniques. Basic understanding of logistics principles is advantageous. Willingness to work flexible hours and wear designated PPE.
